Downhill race for old skiers of Jezersko

Carnival Sunday – ski competition for all those dressed in carnival costumes and enthusiastic sportsmen on the oldest skis.

Open ski championship at Češka koča (mountain hut)

In May – dependent on weather conditions. Neighbouring sports associations (also the Austrian ones) especially welcome.

Giant slalom for hunters

Taking place on the last Sunday in July on the Skuta glacier; the prize is a crystal chamois.

Marathon Železna Kapla - Predvor

Every year, more and more people take part at Železna Kapla - Preddvor marathon, taking place in June. Finish and start are set in turns in both centres of the municipality.

Music festival "VOX LACI – the sound of the lake"

There are six music evenings of classical music with acknowledged Slovene musicians. The concerts take place on Sundays from July to October.

Shepherds’ festival

Traditional event with cultural programme and popular Slovene folk music, taking place on the second Sunday in August.

SAM Slovene Alpine Marathon

Starting in Preddvor, the participants run round Storžič, over Tržič on Jezersko.
